On behalf of the Arkansas EMT Association, we the Board of Directors, would like to extend a personal invitation to be a part of our family of EMS Professionals. The AEMTA is a professional organization representing the EMS Professionals from the patient’s bedside to the continuous changing situations involving the office staff.

Formed in 1978

This Association represents our members with our Legislative Committee, Continuing Education, and many other numerous activities, events and perks. As a member of this Association, you will be entitled to these benefits at no additional costs to you or the company you represent.

Why should I be a member of this Association?

Numbers speak volumes when trying to make changes that affect our daily operations in EMS. We wish to bring each EMT, Advanced EMT, Paramedic, Emergency Medical Responder, Emergency Medical Dispatcher, Fire Fighter, Industrial Emergency Medical Responder, EMS Management, Owner and Operator, Physician, Nurse and any other professional that works through emergency situations on a daily basis to our Association to work together for the benefit of all involved in EMS.

We have found over the years of working in EMS, when we need someone to help, we can turn to our partners and know that they will help when no one else may be able to. We, as a profession, are facing several changes that will affect you, the EMS Professional. Without the support of each of you, those changes may not occur or could actually negate our profession. So, we turn to you for your help!

Support

As members of the Board of Directors, we will continually support you, the EMS Professional, in your daily endeavors and will listen to your concerns and feedback to our Association. We will support you politically on both the State level as well as the National level in trying to improve what we do each day. We will assist our membership in pursuing new and innovative ideas that will benefit those that we serve each day. We know personally, there are new ideas from each EMS Professional because you have been in the trenches and at the bedside providing superb patient care on a regular basis. However, we cannot provide this support without you as a member of this Association feeding us with your situations.

Each member is represented by an individual from your specific area of residency. This District Representative is also tasked with providing an educational event in your area.

The Arkansas EMT Association works closely with the Arkansas Department of Health, Division of EMS and Trauma, the Arkansas Ambulance Association, the Arkansas EMS Foundation and the National Association of EMTs to assist in providing the optimum in patient care throughout our great state.

All meetings of the Board are open to each member of the Association and we enjoy the input from our membership in our meetings.
